CmdrTaco: The MacHack Keynote

wka writes "Here's a write up of the keynote that CmdrTaco was apparently giving at the MacHack conference. Armed with a ThinkPad running Linux, Malda revealed to the MacHack crowd Slashdot's secret to success, talked about the site's history, and did some WinXP bashing, among other things."

Cmdrtaco ... you're so cool. I wish I could be like you when I grow up.

Taco basically had nothing interesting to say, this was a disaster of a Keynote. Compared to Jobs' keynotes, heck even O'Reilly's keynotes, one can say that it was an abject failure.

Malda had absolutely no insight about anything. He tried to troll around but came out looking a fool.

This will be last time Malda will be invited to a keynote.

I hope that next year, MacHack finds someone with more interesting things to say. He came across as a bit arrogant, and didn't really have any real insights into the industry.

What's his claim to fame? He fucking made a website that links to news posted on OTHER sites... of course he doesn't have any insight! HE'S A FUCKING MORON!

I'll bet he farts a lot too.

If I had shelled out 500 bucks, sat down and fucking Rob Malda came out as the keynote, I would have marched up on that stage and cut his fucking head off with a machete having Natalie Portman's face painted on it and then taken a giant shit down his bleeding neck.
