AMD Makes 10-Nanometer Transistor

Yorrike writes: "Reuters is reporting that AMD are about to reveal their smallest double-gate transistor to date. From the article: 'The gate of the transistor, across which electrical current flows to turn the switch on, measures 10 nanometers, or 10 billionths of a meter.' The article goes on to suggest that this may lead to a 1 billion transistor chip."

    Grammar Nazi sez: The comma means that the clause which follows it is a descriptive clause. It is there to describe the item preceding it, not to distinguish it from other items.

    ah come one, yea? Could you Americans be at least one day in the year not be such suckers? Don't be ridiculous... the BRITS are the ones who "invented" english so they can speak (write) whatever they want.
