The Porn Of Napster

Thomas M Hughes writes "Well, Napster is breathing its last breath. Filing for chapter 7 and slowly dying. Who better than to try and bring it back to life than a porn company? The article claims that the company wishes to use the Napster name to distribute free pornography across the Internet."

Is this a pun? I'm drunk as hell, so I'm not sure.

Hrm, Is your sig sarcastic? I once had a sig that read "the vast majority of people who oppose the death penalty have never been victims of violent crime --- CNN". Now obviously, I was making fun of CNN's idiocy. But people started attacking me for having such a logicaly moronic statement in my sig, thinking I belived it.

So I'm wondering, are you being sarcastic, or are you just a moron?

There doesn't seem to be anything inherently wrong with the statement, except that it expresses an opinion you disagree with. Why don't you refute the statement instead of attacking the person?

I was calling him a moron, specifically, for complaining about objective evidence that it's better. How can one Turing complete language ever be objectively better then another one? I mean, I'm assuming he's asking for a rigorous mathematical proof of... something...

Otherwise there's lots of statistical information that could lead us to the conclusion that OOP is better. Such as case studies, etc, that show OOP to be easier to code/maintain/etc.
