Intel Must Pay $150M for Patent Infringement
An anonymous reader writes "ExtremeTech is reporting that a U.S. district court has ruled that Intel's Itanium infringes Intergraph's intellectual property to the tune of $150 million in damages. The judge also cleared the way for Intergraph to request an injunction blocking sales of Itaniums and Itanium 2's."

Yeah, the culture that brought us astronomy, mathematics, medicine and basic hygiene while us Europeans were still wallowing in dirt (bathing kills you!), mostly illiterate and anti-science because of the Church and once in a while going on murderous rampages in neighbouring "heathen" countries (or sometimes just ransacking a nearby christian city because the Holy Land was just too far).

I'm still unable to comprehend how the Americans can be so blind to the reason behind "the hate". Of course, it must give a warm and fuzzy feeling to believe that "they hate us because we're so good, because we have freedom and democracy". Well, the brutal truth is that the reason why you are attacked is that you're the friend of these peoples' enemy and that makes you their enemy as well.
Shut up the jewish lobbying groups and stop supporting the Israel's terror regime in the Middle East and watch most of your troubles disappear.
