  2. Wow on How To Hire Great Open Source Developers? · · Score: 0

I would like to say that is a rather interesting perspective on how to hire individuals within the OSS communities at large. But then i would also say that is a rather closed asumption that they only evolve around OSS. I did like how the article addresses alot of our frugalness as aposed to our drunkeness of money gushing from our wallets. But personally, i think that OSS is more importantly based on how well someone contributes to a project and the quality of their source, not how many projects they contribute to, or how often, but rather the complete and utter respect someone gets for fixing a certain bug or mending issues that people had over a particular API implentation. I guess i could be reitterating what the article said, but i thought it was rather refreshing to see that some form of managment exists which some of us could tollerate.

  5. this kind of thing is un-heard of on Clearspeed Makes Tall Claims for Future Chip · · Score: 0

So they now think we can go from the NASA Space shuttle to StarTrek Next generations in terms of computational speed, i find this very hard to believe that they can bring us this far in technology in such a short jump. To me it's like when they build the first jet, now we go from builting the first jet to reaching the speed of a bullet via the SR71 Blackbird. Maybe i haven't done enough research into their methodologies in this technology, but i'm very doubtful.

okay, first off, what on heavens earth is that dude talking about, all that wasted computation time, when he could have put it to use on the seti project. How dumb of that nerd, stupid nerd who has a big ego wants to figure out how many nerds it takes to screw in a light bulb, 0 > 1

  8. you know what, Figures on Buy.Com Debuts Music Download Site · · Score: 1

This really ticks me off, BuyMusic.com does not even have electronic music at all, i just searched through their pile of dung site, and it has absolutely no artists i find worthy. I will not spend my money on American Taste Dung Music; Pop, Hip Hop, Teeny Bopper music. I want to see some Trance, Deep House, DnB music, they has a serious lack of good music, i would not even recommend this site to any of my friends, due to this lack of good genre selection.

I believe, that this software was designed to give the public a private place to hold conversation, without worrying about possible RIAA or MPAA threats to aim for conversation logs. This software gives freedom to share to those we know, without being spotted via some moron wo forgot to turn off logging. It gives people a chance to stay anonymous, atleast for me anyways, i talk about stuff like how big my johnson is, that way if any agency ever wanted to look me up, they would just say, he's a sick perv, whothef*** cares about him.

  10. DMCA law sucks on U.S. Sides with Record Labels Over DMCA Subpoena Powers · · Score: 1

DMCA is a law, and it sucks, as america goes further into the technology realm, citizens will lose many/all of the rights we have associated with being individuals, as corperations start to tear into those whom are less fortunate than others, because they missed that .000000009 % profit. Monoplistic corperations, are governments within themselves, they have everything our country has except a welfare system. 2cents of space

  12. just one thing on What High End Unix Features are Missing from Linux? · · Score: 1, Insightful

I think man pages suck. They never have any examples. How do you think people learn in programing, it's called examples. How do people learn to program from books "EXAMPLES" man might be powerful, but untill people change the rules and put examples many will use anything to make it easier to learn an already hard to learn/use OS.. If man pages were filled with examples i'd be an expert by now. I think the reason man pages suck is because linux programers feel too uber to give others examples EXAMPLES! EXAMPLES! EXAMPLES

  13. Stupid Military on US Busts Military Network Hacker · · Score: 0

The reason the military didn't catch this dildo is because of pure ignorance. Military is trained by dildos who can't type, and the people who trained them also. All along they take their orders and training programs from upper command dildos... who haven't a clue how to administrate networks or educational programs on teaching the next IT elitists. Government could mess up a wet dream... that is why the militaries network was compromised.

  14. Scare on Microsoft takes on PDF · · Score: 0

What happens when a company like "Microshaft" announces something so drastic in the software industry that it causes another huge software competitor to lose an immence percentage of their company volume. Then "Microshaft" decides they have enough money and inhales that company because they need a new product. In this case they planed an industry senerior that had absolutely no intention of producing a product, but rather to give themselves a better chance at purchasing their new next best product.
