The worst terrorist attack in recorded history occurred over a year ago, followed by a Holy War against Islam, and now Israel and the Palestinians as well as India and Pakistan are teetering on the brink of their own war, Argentina is in the midst of a financial crisis, America is considering launching attacks against Somalia and Iraq, and you people have the gall to be discussing the 2.6 kernel???? My *god*, people, GET SOME PRIORITIES!

The bodies of the thousands of innocent civilians who died (and will die) in these unprecedented events could give a good god damn about the 2.6 kernel, your childish Lego models, your nerf toy guns and whining about the lack of a "fun" workplace, your Everquest/Diablo/D&D fixation, the latest Cowboy Bebop rerun, or any of the other ways you are "getting on with your life" (here's a hint: watching Cowboy Bebop in your jammies and eating a bowl of Shreddies is *not* "getting on with your life"). The souls of the victims are watching in horror as you people squander your finite, precious time on this earth playing video games!

  okay, let's just start whining about things that make us miserable instead of trying to resume our normal lifestyle and make this country work. really, let's all sit on our asses and moan about the troops that will die and line up to sign up for the army because we're going to invade a country that already surrendered to UN inspectors.

  I'm not saying you don't have a job/life if you play rpgs/watch anime, that's ridiculous to imply a blanket statement. 24 comments isn't much considering i have school two days a week and 35hr/week job. I type fast too.

  Ordinary innocent Palestinians living on their OWN land have had their human rights stripped away by an invading force.
  
  Nearly all Palestinians want an independent democratic country.
  
  Freedom fighting groups such as Al-Aqsa Martyts Brigade want a democratic state. While groups such as Hamas want an Islamic Palestinian state with Sharia Law. But due to the recent terrorist actions by the Israeli Army and the Zionist entity, Hamas have seen their popularity and support by the Palestinians go through the roof.
  
  Wether Yasir Arafat is terrorist or not, thats debatably. BUT HE WAS ELECTED BY HIS OWN PEOPLE.
  
  Now, which other Arab leader in the Middle East has been elected by his own citizens? None.

  Bzzzzt. The Jews were there first, so Israel is rightfully theirs. When the Arab nations tried to destroy Israel in 1967, Israel kicked their mother-loving asses and seized the West Bank and Gaza as spoils of war. No invading force here.
  
  There is no Palestine. Palestine is a myth, like Atlantis or Mu. The sooner the Palestinians are either assimilated into Israeli culture, deported to Syria and points eastward, or wiped out, the better for the world in general.
