Adult Swim Revamps; Removes Most Anime

Megas writes "According to a Collegiate Presswire story, Cartoon Network (Probably due to its recent acquisition of Futurama) is expanding its Adult Swim schedule to Monday through Thursday starting January 12th. The "Comedy" block on Sundays will stay, but except for Inu-Yasha and Cowboy Bebop (Which will replace the Toonami Midnight Run block on the weekday slots) the Saturday "Action" block will be gone. This means that the legendary series Mobile Suit Gundam will not be aired in full for the second time in a row on CN. Future airings of Yuu Yuu Hakusho and Outlaw Star-And the planned re-airing of Gundam 0080: War In the Pocket-Are thrown into doubt by this decision as well. More schedule details in the article. (Anyone else as frustrated by this as I am?)"

Anime was never given a proper chance in the mainstream. All the shit on CN was edited homogenized tasteless mush compared to the edgy teen/adult programming that anime can be. I also think their selection of anime sucked for the most part. There is more to anime than just action or fighting, or kids shows.

I've recently noticed that people who like anime also like role playing games (RPGs). My conclusion: These guys need to get their dongles played with and also both anime and RPGs suck. P.S. Adult swim is filled with inate and comedic genius and i love almost every show thats in it. and I'm glad they took off the anime, if it wasnt apparent enough.

Why do Japs have this sexual fetish with having characters combine to form some Super Powerful Strong Warrior. They even made TMNT and Transformers do it (not those construction bots). Come on, make something original.

Dragon Ball Z. Probably the worst Anime I have ever seen. These so called "Fights" that last 3 episodes because 90% of the time the two opponents have these looks on their faces and grunts that looks like they are trying to shit a Volkswagen.
This generic term they use, "Power". Couldn't you just make something up? No. They can't. They're too busying making dialogue like:
"Ha. My power is greater than yours."
"Oh Yeah? Huuuuuuuuhh"
*grunt*
"Oh no, now his power is growing at an incredible rate"
The so-called stories or plots people talk about. What plot? Some of these might have a plot. I'll give them that, but don't tell me they all have a plot. Their telling of the plots are god-aweful if the plot isn't already bad itself.
