Don't let anyone tell you what's social and anti-social. Social doesn't inheritantly mean good and being alone or lanning doesn't mean anti-social. I could easily go off on a tangent here so I gotta restrain myself. The majority of people that call gaming anti-social have absolutely NO history or experience with it. To them you playing CS with 10 other 25+ year olds is no different than a 5 year old playing Nintendo. Fuck em. These are the type of people that will tell you working 60 hours a week at a job you hate then bar-hopping all weekend is "socially acceptable". This is no different than jocks in high school trying to tell you how you should act. Fuck em, they have no idea what the fuck they're talking about. Be a gamer if that's what you're into. You don't owe ANYONE an explanation.

Well you have to realize that the 26 years number is the absolute satanic-judge maximum sentence possible that no one would ever get. It's like a furniture dealer actually spending 6 months in prison for removing a tag, it's just not gonna happen.

As for this "camcorders in theatres" bullshit, it's exactly that, bullshit. I've pulled maybe half a dozen screeners in the last years and none of them were worth watching. In fact, some of them interested me enough to desire to see them in good quality, and I bought a ticket even though I hadn't planned on it. I do, however, believe the day is coming when we'll start seeing perfect quality digital rips of whatever digital media(most likely DVD, obviously) they use to show movies at theatres. Then, coupled with faster broadband speeds(I'm 3mb down currently) I believe that when the MPAA complaigns of finance loss through this type of piracy, they'll actually be speaking some truth.

You just completely fabricated a story based on a limited knowledge of the game. Never let truth get in the way of a good story, eh?

I remember years ago being SUCH an advocate for a redesigned business model for the recording industry along with a new marketing and price scheme and this specific board killed it. It's full of such weak arguments acting as a thin mask over the fact that the majority of you would NEVER buy music again if you didn't have to. It's not about right vs. wrong it's about cheap vs. spendy. Honestly, if I was leading some type of anti-RIAA(or anti-MPAA) association, the criminalistic trolls of this haven of pseudo-intellectual board would be the LAST people I wanted on my side.
