Beautiful Case Modding

Miles S.F. writes "Thought you guys might appreciate this little project I've been working on. This is what happens when the left and right brain get bored and start talking with each other." Excellent case mods, entertaining reading, good ideas, and a solid site design. Worth a read if only to see the case modded to include a furby.

    ...yes.. I particularly like the simplistic design - a plain grey page with nothing on it...

    Maybe you should check your server / pipe can handle a slashdotting before posting your site to slashdot?

    Remember the good old days, when web sites w/ images had a "text-only version"? Nowadays, web sites won't even provide an "images-only version."

    What's really amazing is how much extra effort it takes to make a site that doesn't work on most browsers. You really have to go out of your way to make a glitzy flash thing that I can't see---and then you have to run out of energy/interest at just the right moment, before you can slap together the non-flash version for the rest of us.

    Or worse, they could think they are in carmageddon.

    This one time when I was addicted to Carmageddon like a rabid crack addict. I was pulling my Tercel out of a parking lot, and I saw this Corvette just sitting there. Parked all by itself. My first instinct was to floor it and give it a nice T-Bone. Then after I actually thought about how bad that would be I decided to start playing less carmageddon.
