Equilibrium
The_Hiro writes ""Farenheit 451 - meets - Brave New World - meets - Matrix" (minus the overdone wire work). Created on a limited budget, Equilibrium combines the best of sci-fi with the action genre. Unfortunately, the marketing droids at Dimension have neglected to promote the film (release date: Dec. 6th). Chud.com has a glowing review of the film and some pretty pictures. Check out the trailer also."
Farenheit 451 was a pretty bad movie. The book was pretty good but a book about books should not be mad into a movie abotu books.

ok, whoever modded that down as 'off-topic' didn't even follow the link. I had a good laugh after reading the parent, and if the mod had done something *drastic* like clicked through and checked it out before he modded this down... I guess I hold out too much hope for most of you.
Ob complaint. Why does Real Player and Windows Media Player get high quality feeds, but Quicktime only has a low quality feed. Is another DRM punishment for Apple? This is itself might make me not want to see the movie.

Hahahahahahahahhahah!! Shit dude, that was classic. I hate it when people get bitchy over occasional use of internet short-hand.
"Derp de derp."
"Using crapola like "ur" and "2" and "4u" isn't called "internet shorthand". It's called "being a fucking illiterate"."
Actually it's called phonetics. Get your terms straight before you try putting people in their place.
While we're on the subject of illiteracy, how come ur unable to log in when you reply? What's the matter? Don't think your argument has any steam? Worried about getting modded down?
Chicken.
..."2" is not a phonetic symbol, it's a number. Same goes for "4"...
Say '2' out loud...
Say '4' out loud...
Number of letters in '2': 1
Number of letters in 'two': 3
Number of letters in '4': 1
Number of letters in 'four': 4
4 is shorter than four, and 2 is shorter than two.
So.. 2 sounds like two or to, and 4 sounds like for.
This rings a lot like phonetic shorthand to me. Who cares if it's not an offical 'University Approved' symbol, it's still quite understandable. Argue all you want, that type of dialect is not going to disappear off the net anytime soon. If you want to waste time making useless points about it, then I'd suggest you start a campaign to convince altavista to provide a translator for you.
