Sun vs. OpenBSD?
An anonymous reader writes "CNet has an article up about OpenBSD trying to get documentation for Sun's UltraSparc-III processor. Basically Sun is giving them a bit of run around....There is some documentation available for the processor, but not enough to get things to boot."

But does that mean I have to meet your father, when we're older?

In Soviet Russia the documentation runs around YOU!
Why do users with IDs under 100,000 or over 700,000 usually have the most worthwhile comments?
With so many of them it's time we make a full section for them. Since after so much complaining they don't seem to be going away any time soon maybe the solution would be just to make a section so that editors could move duplicated articles there.
- Your mother thinking twice and not giving the coat hanger that final shove was wrong.
Sun doesn't really care about your, or any "community". They care about business. When you actually get a job, maybe you'll understand Sun.
1. Broken moderation. Its sole purpose these days is to provide the janitors, with unlimited moderator points, a way to silence dissent and at the same time provide the Slashdot sheep a warm, fuzzy feeling that they're actually in charge by letting them to use their 5 moderator points now and then, every few months.
2. Advertisements. Not just any banner ads but doubleclick's spy-ads and infuriating animated ads. "Subscribe to us and you'll get rid of them". Really? Do I get rid of ads like the ones in the Related Links-slashbox and articles that are nothing but ads. These days the janitors don't even seem to bother to hide this.
3. Articles. Dupes, inane and - on some days - pure trollbait to maximize the page hits.
4. Article submission queue. Selections are made apparently at random.
Will it fit on a model train??
You know your duty.
Sun is one of the coolest computer companies out there... too bad they're being dicks here.
The only thing they're not clear on is the fact that there are two drives in the case...
:-)
What's not apparant is that this case has two drives in it apparantly.
Slashdot gets worse every day... Pipedot: News for nerds, without the corporate slant
Theo de Raadt and Steve Jobs could rule the world if they got together. No really.
Moderator, please mod it up parent comment!
I'd stonewall him too.
