Codeine writes "A group of professional Internet engineers and technicians from New Zealand are following the published procedure to obtain the delegation of GEEK.NZ from the NZ Domain Name Commissioner (DNC). If successful, GEEK.NZ would be New Zealand's twelfth second-level domain."

    Don't complain about news like this being posted... It's almost 3:00am EST, I'm working a night shift, and I'm just happy that there is some sort of posting going on at all.

    Holland, MI (Reuters) - Slashdot posted stories about new blah blah blah and nobody beatched about anything. Also, not a single story was a duplicate. Geeks passing out everywhere from sheer joy of being alive.

    What do these countries have in common? 1. A more populous immediate neighbor with a bigger economy and a bigger attitude 2. Lots of territory, but not a lot is useable 3. Friendly semi-rivalry with that neighbor: NZ/CA/NA have a friendly rivalry, but the neighbor is oblivious 4. 95% of foreign disputes relate to fish
