QuickTime 6.1 Released

Enhancements include the following: MPEG-4 video provides more accurate rate control and improved visual quality; AAC includes new encoder controls and new bit rate options; DV includes significant encode and decode performance improvements; QuickTime Pro users will enjoy enhancements in full screen playback, including newly enabled keyboard shortcuts for movie control, faster entry and exit, and improved playback performance."

    For what it's worth: iSync 1.0 is also available via Software Update.

    "iSync 1.0 is the first official release after the iSync 1.0 Beta release, and includes scheduled synchronization and improved Palm OS device connectivity and reliability"

    It was a full reboot for me when I updated this morning - and yes I am using 10.2.3:

    Authoxy. QuickTime 6.1 is only available through Software Update at present (not standalone installer), which will not connect through firewalls since the 10.2 Jaguar upgrade was released. This app allows Software Update to connect through firewalls and download updates. ..k
