First off, your joke is barely even laughable. Secondly, it's downright innappropriate for any kids or young teenagers to be reading on a site like this.
I have filters on our home machine in the Mozilla set-up that only allow certains sites to be read by my children (we all have our own user profiles).
I have always allowed them to read the Slashdot front page and all the links that are pointed to by the stories. I've never let them read the comments.pl page because of all the sex and violence talk at the 0 and -1 levels.
But with this talk about pornography from the Slashdot editors now, I don't think I'll even let my children read your site. Sure, you may think it's innocent, but some of us are very offended by pornography in general and the connotation it gives females and the sickening thoughts it gives males about domination and bossing around women.
You should be ashamed of yourself. I ask of you to please change the department title and reconsider what you write in the future.

Not to be a jerk, but who gives a fuck? I think I speak for the majority who read this site that it's quality of article submissions has certainly gone down over the years. I think the editors like Rob, Michael, etc need to quit busting cocks up each others asses all the time and do so serious work on this site.

I actually came across anarticle in wired quite a while ago. It was the typical stuff at the time, i.e. almost a "vaporware" type article, when nano and bio where the hot new prefixes and every tech magazine was scrambling to get coverage. However, there was something I found extremely interesting that is relevant here, as apparently it is one of the possible methods of implementing nano ICs...three dimensionals circut boards.. I googled a little and didnt come up with much besides this blog entry apparently from some scientist working with this stuff in an R&D program for a company in europe somewhere. Anyways, if anyone has further knowledge on the topic id be extremly interested, as I am sure others would be too.
...that's because the company (the top level people I mean), as has been pointed out in another reply, is the direct descendant of freaking immoral demonic nazis. Their progeny are still the bosses and driving force. Nazism never went away, it just went "respectably" underground, in europe and into south and north america. The US version was operation paperclip among others. So, stealing other's work is chump change candy stealing to them.
