Seems interesting that this may be a 1 year dupe.

I really just don't watch TV any more. In fact, the TV that we did have in the livin room was just recently given to my little sister to use at college.

I find that TV shows simply either just aren't funny when they're supposed to be, or are too in-your-face when they're supposed to be drama. Showing a bunch of naked people or really graphic violenece isn't my idea of drama. It's the easy way out to actually creating a well-written storyline.

Malda and I hang out on occasion, and when we do we almost never watch television. He's into movies and not into TV either, so we either watch Steve Martin comedies that have been re-released onto DVD or Japanese manga flicks, both of which are tons better than any crap you'll find from CBS, NBC, or ABC.

Most shows are news-related these days anyway. The morning news is from like 4am - 11am these days, and then from 4pm - 8pm. Then they have a few shitty primetime reality shows from 8 - 11pm. The only decent TV show left is Late Night with Conan O'Brien, but I can't watch that b/c I gave the TV to my sister.
