Latest ID Theft Tactic: Fake Job Listings

citking writes "News.com.com reports that, in an attempt to curb identity theft on its service, online career listing site Monster.com has begun warning its users of fake job postings bent on stealing personal information. 'Regrettably, from time to time, false job postings are listed online and used to illegally collect personal information from unsuspecting job seekers', according to an e-mail sent by the company yesterday to registered users. With the increasingly difficult job market, things such as background checks and non-disclosure agreements are becoming more and more difficult to avoid, so where does one draw the line for giving out personal information in response to a classified ad? CNN has a small article about this as well."

I drive a motherfucking Oldsmobile Aurora. That's right, the same model they used in the X- Files movie. Roomy interior, smooth ride, and the chicks can't get enough of how my Steely Dan collection sounds through the premium Delco-Bose audio. This system includes a pair of 6-by-9 full-range speakers along the rear deck. These are bolstered by a pair of 6-inch mid- bass drivers in the front doors, coupled to a pair of tweeters neatly housed in their own custom enclosures just inside the side mirrors. The tweeters, particularly on the driver's side, where they abut the end of the dashboard, don't seem suitably placed, since their sound is partially blocked, but they sound pretty good nonetheless. With a fully independent suspension (front MacPherson struts and rear semi-trailing arms), a self-levelling rear suspension, and standard P235/55R17 tires, my Aurora soaks up road undulations and bumps with ease, and glides along the highway with very little wind noise or engine noise to spoil the ride. It's a real driver's car, for real men - and the ladies can't get enough of that smooth American V8 power.
