Apple to Launch Music Service?

discstickers writes "The San Jose Mercury News is running an article about an Apple music service that might be ready to launch next month. $.99 a song with the ability to burn to CD doesn't sound too bad."

I own a 2001 GMC Jimmy and a 2001 mitsubishi mirage.

The Jimmy gets better mileage in reality, though the mirage is better (by 1 mpg) on paper. Both are in good repair, but the mitsubishi is frankly designed to be disposable. It's designed to last until I finish my payments, then buy another car. The Jimmy will be usable 10 or 20 years from now.

The gas-guzzling SUV is an annoying urban legend. Talk about gas guzzling pickup trucks, minivans, hearses, ambulances, etc. Or talk about the 'environmentaly friendly' little 4 cylinder coupes that are designed to be throwaway commodities.
