Anonymous Coward writes "Registration for YAPC::NA is in process. It will be held in Boca Raton, FL June 16-18. YAPC is a low-cost ($85USD) conference, but still has high quality speakers and topics. I do think we should sell Florida to them, though. It's causing us nothing but trouble. Anthrax, presidential elections, etc.

In amazing news today it was discovered by the Ydnar the first-poster on Perl confrence:North America in slashdot forums, with the posting comment called of Duplicate? That in fact America and Canada have been separated as one, since the Americans decided they weren't too fond of those Canadians in 1776. Yndar was greeted by shock and amazement when he saw his posting which he thought for sure would receive a +5 insightful was modded down for being off topic. In speaking with Yndar's representatives he's currently sitting at home thinking of better things he can write for first postings in the future.

Oh, and just so this won't be entirely off topic, I'll use a yndar strategy here and ask some questions that make it seem like I have something to say about perl even though I could get the answers from the website most likely, what's the attendance like at these things? and is there anybody who comes as a php evangelist and just riots the entire time?
