      It does this every night at around the same time. Been doing it for at least a year. Why the server power cord gets accidentally kicked out of the socket at the same time each night is best left to private speculation.

      Call it flamebait, but I'm starting to wonder if slashdot has to reboot every day for some reason or other....

      Um, nevermind. It wouldn't show anything if that were the case, eh? Still, it irritates me that this fancy linux cluster has daily problems like this. Maybe it's intentional stuff that they do and they don't bother telling us about it?
