Anonymous Howard writes "According to Shacknews, Rockstar has announced Grand Theft Auto: Sin City, a new GTA game that incorporates Frank Miller's Sin City universe. Sounds awesome to me."

Director Peter Jackson, as quoted in the Los Angeles Times, this morning, "Lord of the Rings:Return of the King will actually be a pretty weak effort, it was just too hard to follow the books acurately and make each into a 3 hour film. We left off a good chunk of The Two Towers and I had no idea how I was going to include that, along with the third book in the next film, so to cut things short, Gandalf casts a spell arming the elves with AR-15's and has Sauron choke on a piece of pretzel. I can't wait to get rid of this stuff and start working on King Kong."

I'd like to see a Maxis/Rockstar collaboration...
Two players: The benevolent mayor building up his vision of a city, while the Mafia Don works to bring it down with crime.
When I first read it, I read it as "GTA: Sim City". I thought, damn, that would be cool. Create a city in Simcity 4000, then export it to GTA, and run around killing stuff. Kind of like "Streets of Sim City", only with more mindless violence. But alas, same old game, new city.
I can't seem to see anything that says this is just a prank, so if it is, it's a very poor one. Why wouldn't they do something like this? It's a good idea and apparently alot of people want to see it happen. It's also completely feasible, as the engine already exists, so it's just a matter of setting/plot/graphics. Also, this is about the lamest holiday ever to celebrate, and Slashdot is taking it way too far. I played a prank on my co workers, today. I didn't play 15 throughout the day, 4 of which were the same one.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It's just that yours is stupid.
I'd like to see a few regionalized GTAs, especially one in the former Soviet capital about a year or two after the fall of the USSR when anything and everything was for sale (maybe it's still that way?). Maybe another one for Berlin during the height of the Cold War or Tokyo in the late 80s. In other words, huge metro areas like Vice City only larger and with more adventures behind them.

is "The Sins", followed promptly by "The Sins Online." Both feature exquisite graphics involving .. well, perhaps it's best to leave that to the imagination.
JERSEY city!

In the future, I would want to not be isolated from my friends in the Space Station.
You'd better take my huge dick in your mother's mouth seriously. I'm stabbing her skull full of holes.
Watch your step since those two sound like a dangerous combination.
Well, it has never been successfully tested.
