Stories From The Vineyard
An anonymous reader writes "Brian Vincent of Wine Weekly News fame has started a new series of interviews with the Wine developers, over at the newly redesigned WineHQ site. The first interview features Über-hacker Ove Kåven, while the second one (hot off the press)
features long-time Wine hacker Dimitrie O. Paun. Cheese anyone?"
it appears that privoxy is stripping all content from the page. how nice.
Ok, just checked. Mozilla 1.3 - WinXP - Site works.
Debian Testing - Mozilla 1.0 - Site Works.
Debian Testing - Konq. 2.2 - Site works.
Looks like the problem's somewhere else.

Their new website is very easy to use, looks great and I applaud the developers. All the information I need is but a click away!
Also, the Wine project helps me do anything I need in Linux. ~90% of the Windows programs that I try under Wine work. Keep up the good work, guys :)
That's about the only showstopper i have in gentoo ~x86 atm.
Liberty.
Is privoxy stripping the code? Or does WINE not want you to use privoxy on their site? or both???
Anyway, I'm having the same problems
Fun site: Circle of Legends
I maintain WineHQ, and if there is a problem I'd like to track it down. The site works in every browser combo I can get my grubby fingers on. It even validates at http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=www.winehq.org
So, if there is a bug, it may lie with my version of PHP, or Apache.
Or another cause lies in the compression using PHP's ob_gzhandler gzip compression routine. Best to check to see if privoxy supports gzip compression.

And for those who like to put names to faces, here are some photos of the happy chappies who make Wine great
It's actually a bug in PHP.
