MP3 Player In An AK-47 Magazine

Comrade Pikachu writes "These guys have apparently fit a hard drive based MP3 player into a Kalashnikov ammunition clip. They are accepting pre-orders now. It fits into a standard AK-47 and comes pre-loaded with over 200 audio books. Listen to Poe on your assault rifle!" Audiobooksforfree also is one of the few places I've found online with free (low-fi) audiobooks -- for greater fidelity, you can buy files or pre-loaded hard drives, or (at long last) this unorthodox player.

Outlaw portable mp3 players, and only outlaws will have portable mp3 players inside the ammunition clips of their AK-47s.

Did anyone else have trouble with that page in Mozilla (1.3 here). It loaded, then the images disappeared and I couldn't get them back thru refresh or anything. No, the image urls are not on my blocked list.

    Worked fine in Phoenix, tho.

    Hmm. .asp file...

I own a number of pistols. I love shooting as a hobby.

    Sometimes people just don't think.

At least it's the Bill Clinton Bureaucratic mandated 10 round magazine variety.

Now I will have the RIAA trying to take away both my mp3s and my guns.

But on the other hand maybee we can get the NRA to
lobby against the RIAA. The NRA has got a lot of clout in washington.

This does not look like AK47 magazine at all!

In the US it is now illegal to sell magazines that can hold more than 10 rounds. I think the mag they are using is one of 10 round mags made for the US market, so it looks nothing like the classic AK-47 magazines.

I'm just anticipating problems when I try to board a commercial flight carrying one of those.
