IBM Denies Charges of Unix Theft

that SCO has filed a lawsuit accusing IBM of theft of it's Unix intellectual property. SCO
alleges this occurred because IBM released portions
of the Unix system, owned by SCO, in to Linux." While the suit is nothing new, IBM's retort is. IBM asserts it is innocent of any charges of wrongdoing. Additionally, IBM is accusing SCO of trying to stifle Linux development through the use of the courts.

Cobb County police say they have found no sign of foul play in the death Thursday of wrestling personality Miss Elizabeth, who was rushed to the hospital from the Marietta home of former wrestler Lex Lugar.
Elizabeth A. Hulette, 42, was unresponsive when police were summoned at 5:35 a.m. to the home off Powder Springs Road, said Cobb police spokesman Cpl. Brody Staud.
He said the woman died at Kennestone Hospital, but authorities have not determined the cause of death.
"There were no signs of foul play. We are not investigating this as a homicide," said Staud, adding that police will await an autopsy report from the county medical examiner.
Police received a call from the residence, where Hulette lived with the former wrestler, whose real name is Lawrence Pfohl. Police spoke to him early Thursday and he rode with her to the hospital, said Staud.

Cobb County police say they have found no sign of foul play in the death of Elizabeth A. Hulette, who went by the professional name of Miss Elizabeth. She was rushed to the hospital from the Marietta home of Lawrence Pfohl, the real name for Luger.
Luger later was arrested after police investigating Hulette's death found a controlled substance in his home. Police said the investigation into the drug charge is separate from the investigation into Hulette's death.
Hulette, 42, was unresponsive when police were summoned at 5:35 a.m. to the home off Powder Springs Road, said Cobb police spokesman Cpl. Brody Staud.
Staud said the woman died at Kennestone Hospital, but authorities have not determined the cause of death.

A preliminary report may be ready today, but toxicology tests, which could take a month, may be needed to determine the cause of death, authorities said.
Staud said police did not know whether it was a suicide, death from natural causes, or a drug or alcohol overdose.
Police received a call from the residence where Hulette lived with Pfohl. Police spoke to him early Thursday and he rode with Hulette to the hospital, Staud said.
Hulette entered the world of professional wrestling as the "manager" of then-husband Randy "The Macho Man" Savage. They entered the World Wrestling Federation together in 1985 and their careers took off immediately.
Miss Elizabeth and Luger, 44, also worked for the now-defunct World Championship Wrestling, which was based in Atlanta. While working for WCW in the '90s, Luger became one of the biggest names and most highly paid wrestlers in the business.
This was not the first time police had gone to Pfohl's home. Authorities said they responded to a domestic disturbance call April 19 during which Pfohl was arrested for allegedly beating Hulette. According to police reports he punched her in the face, and he was charged with battery.
