Strong Bad Mod For Half-Life In Development

Thanks to EvilAvatar for pointing out these preview renders (via PlanetHalfLife) of a Strong Bad mod for Half-Life, as based on the wildly popular Web cartoon (do I hear Cartoon Network calling?) Homestar Runner. The mod's homepage promises unique weapons and multiplayer modes, but doesn't guarantee gameplay interludes for Strong Bad Email Updates. C'est la vie?

    I can't justify reading the article at work, so I have no idea whether StrongMad will be a playable model in multiplayer. =P

    Strongbad has REALLY become this popular, even Slashdot links to it!

    Great job guys, I'll even play Half-life again just to frag Homesar ("I was raised by a cup of coffee!") with my parsnip cannon. :)

    This new games section is AWSOME and the moderator is GREAT for posting stuff like this, congrats Slashot!

      you know thats funny..... When I play CS I usually switch to my Techno directory in XMMS and crank up the volume. I find it helps me play better than just listening to the sounds of the game.

    An anime spoof rendition of Strongbad for those not aware... however The blue hair is compelling.

    There is a TROGDOR flash game on the homestarrunner site. You eat villagers and burninate the village while avoiding the knights and archers.

    It's especially compelling for the following reasons:

    1. on screen info includes number of "mans" you have left
    2. "Squished you, peasanty!"
