T-Mobile Dumps MS SmartPhone
burgburgburg writes "It seems that T-Mobile International, Europe's second largest mobile phone operator, has decided against introducing a Microsoft SmartPhone after all. T-Mobile had announced their plans in February to introduce the MS SmartPhone this summer. Industry insiders say that the software for the phone continued to have 'fundamental problems,' leading to a high failure rate. French mobile carrier Orange introduced a MS SmartPhone, SPV, late last year. It initially had software security problems which Microsoft has claimed are patched."

Microsoft has euthenized the Smart Phone division and recycled them for use by the newly arrived helpdesk division. The former smart phone staff will be served with curry, and choice of vegatable.
Microsoft spokesperson commented on the event:
"Being part of the global community requires responsible use of the environment and a sound recycling program. We like to think of ourselves as forerunners in this area."
Whne asked what his choice of vegatable would be at the welcoming feast for the helpdesk, the Microsoft spokesman smiled and said:
"Curry is my favorite vegatable."

Do you have any idea what you're talking about?! Smartphone is a brilliant OS. The SPV in the UK is a fantastic phone. I've been using it since November when it was launched, and there hasnt been a single OS update! The updates have been for more efficient firmware and drivers. These were downloaded via a PC and copied on to the phone when sync'd.
