exactly, they are more focused on defending child molesters like NAMBLA than defending the rights of every man woman and child in the country in copyright law chalenges. this just makes them worthless.

ERROR, while I appreciate that you recognize the need to issue corrospondance, your perception of timing is dead wrong. By the time your congressman has "done something" he will have already picked sides, requiring a much LOUDER voice for any significant sway. Best to be the first heard on any issue you care about.

You make a good point. Write your Congressmonkey now, so they will become aware of the issues, and will have forgotten all about it by the time a bill gets introduced. In other words, you'll have to write them AGAIN. Not that big a deal, I suppose.

Man, this protecting our rights stuff is HARD. :-)

Hey numnuts get a clue. I am not American, I am not 22 and if I was illiterate I wouldn't be able to read your little post.

Gore was boring as hell sure, but at least he wasn't some Coke snorting daddy's boy who skipped out on his national guard service and relied more on dads connections to get him what he wanted.

I will continue to call GW the shrub because that is what he is. He is not a leader, he is a follower who thinks that the John Wayne style of diplomacy will win friends and influnece people. In short the man is an idiot.

The only thing that has saved the Shrubs presidency was 11/9. If it hadn't been for that tragic event, and the resulting Neo-Macarthyism that has infected the world, people would have a whole other opinion of the man who has seen the American economy hit the skids.

Rep. Adam Smith this evening denied ever writing that the GPL was a threat to America's "innovation and security".

"What I meant to write was the GPL is a threat to 'evil corporations stifiling all innovation and security' pertaining to software development". Rep. Smith claimed that he momentarily blacked out, due to Bill Gate's penis being lodged in his throat, and unintentionally left out the words "evil corporatons stifiling all.."
