Violent Video Game Restriction Struck Down

Nutsquasher was the first to submit news that a ban on selling violent video games to minors has been struck down, reversing an earlier decision in this case that held that video games were not a constitutionally protected form of speech. The decision (pdf) is available. Since the Federal government has been considering a national law along these lines, these decisions on local laws may be important soon.

Now 13 year old kids can buy pornographic video games and video games about serial murder. Just lovely.

Hello, my name is Freston Youseff. I am afraid that our population of 13 year olds are being corrupted (yes, i have precedent over the current biological parents) by video games. I am completely unaware that most 13 year old boys have been wanking off to pornography they own that is not in video game format and such other. But i am a troll, so please do me the honors... *bends over* (ahh, thank you that felt great. i know that at 13, our youth are so very susceptible and unexposed)
