Walmart to Push RFID
bravehamster writes "According to this article over at MSNBC, Walmart is going to push its suppliers to start using RFID to track inventory by 2005. The article goes on to mention how it was Walmart who helped jumpstart widespread adoption of barcodes. The report also points out some of the barriers in the way of RFID acceptance, but never once mentions consumer privacy concerns. Guess that kind of stuff just isn't important anymore."
It's saturday night.
What timezone do you live in again? Did I pass out earlier?

There are so many signs in this post that scream "detox time."
If you think it's saturday night, perhaps you don't really need the bong.

Mod parent up. Even though he got the day of the week wrong he may have been just partying alittle too hard lately. (Friday/Saturday are both party nights anyway.) I wouldn't mind to see some more entertaining news whenever I check /. on these nights. And seeing a bong mod would be very cool.
thanks for understanding. Usually, i only get shit-faced drunk on fridays and saturdays, but thursday i got shit-faced drunk, so i couldn't tell what day it was. In my defense i actually posted it saturday morning. Hmm.. I think that means i skipped work friday. Oh well. They would probably prefer me vomitting on some girl's bedroom floor than in my cubicle garbage can.
