Open Source Project Management Lessons
cpfeifer writes "Paul Baranowski takes a moment to reflect on Open Source Project Management in his blog. His reflections are based on the first two years of the Peek-a-booty project." Interesting comments on media coverage, choice of programming language, when to release a project, and more.
Anyways, this project has made me think that there's still hope for everyone to be able to have freedom one way or another.
I think the only thing about peek-a-booty was that people were afraid it would open a pedophilia flood gate. This really pissed me off as obviously the juornalists behind these stories hadn't actually taken the time to investigate the actual software. Instead they just brushed over it and made assumptions, hence the bad press.
Anyways, great program, I mean it. I think the fact that it's created by one of the worlds largest trojan creators (cDc) is what gives it such a bad wrap.
Ignore the "p2p is theft" trolls, they're just uninformed
I'll take the inevitable off topic karma hit. But after three or four years, when does this get old? Christ, 99% of the time, the lame ass AC's that try this don't even get first post.
Friends don't let friends make lame posts.
This is your brain,
This is your brain doing lame posts.
Only you can prevent lame posts.
Give a lame post a change.
Where are the WLPs (Weapons of Lame Posts)?
There are no lames posts here. All the lame posts are being killed as I speak now. Praise Allah that we will roast the bellies of the lame posts.
