The Death of A Universe
ninthwave writes "The Guardian is running an article on research into the visible effects of entropy in the Universe. Alan Heavens of The University of Edinburgh did the research also posted at The Royal Astronomical Society with this article" I dunno - expansion, heat death - it all reminds me of a teacher who said "I'm not a premillenialist, postmillenialist - I'm a pan-millenialist, as in it's all going to pan out in the end." The Death Of A User Of Correct Grammar
My thoughts exactly.
Why the total lack of people of color? Must everyone be an obese, smelly, socially inept sexless white boy like that fat slob cowboy Kneel???
In 5 billion?! don't scare me like that dude! it's 5 TRILLION.
God Bless America, with the worst crime levels in the first world
God Bless America, where "democracy" means a rich, white male as President
God Bless America, the biggest consumer of the world's natural resources
God Bless America, where "freedom of speech" means race-hate groups like KKK
God Bless America, and its massive and ever-growing poverty gap
God Bless America, with the highest obesity levels in the developed world
God Bless America, all its appalling "sitcoms" with no grasp of irony
God Bless America, because corporations should be allowed to run amok
God Bless America, wasting billions to attack foreign countries
God Bless America, and thank God I don't have to live there.

"And if you look to your left ladies and gentleman, you'll see the rare 'flamebait-marked-as-funny'. These things were once a rarity, nearly hunted to extinction by competent meta-moderators, who captured and all but wiped out Hot Grits, Natalie Portman, and Fr1st p0st3rz. But now their numbers have grown, so now they are quickly eliminating all the use of surfing at +5. One day, scientists predict you'll need specialized flame filters, much like we use spam filters today."
"An historic" always grates on my ears too. At least when Americans say it.
It sounds ok when it comes from British people though, because they don't pronounce the "H" sound.
So while Americans should say "a historic", Brits can say "an 'istoric"... as in "Blimey, what an 'istoric event! Fancy a shag, guvnor?"

According to dictionary.com, it is pronounced youniverse.
Wow, you got that wrong almost instantly.
The feminine possessive is "her."
In some old dialects "an hundred" etc was fully correct (compare the KJV Bible.)
