False, at least from a technical standpoint (I don't care about sales numbers, I care about getting work done). I write xplat Win/MacOS software, and this is not the case. 10.0.4 sucked, but 10.2.n has been a breath of fresh air.
If even.5 of Apple's "It'll just run faster" claims are true, my back-ordered dual CPU G5 will be worth it.
(gotta run, Timbuktu tells me that the.NET compiler hung my Windows box trying to clean a build again...)

I've been browsing the comments of this article with points boosted for flamebait and trolls. Almost all the flamebait/troll posts are people merely saying "I can get what I want for a cheaper price" or "The new Mac is too expensive for me."
WTF!? Why are these comments being modded down? They are just opinions. I know that most of you disagree with that opinion but it doesn't make them a troll. It seems like no one can get away with saying something negative about Macs around here. These type of posts get modded down faster than racist or religously offensive posts. I think this is rediculous. I've had/used Macintoshes since I was in 5th grade, and I think they are quality products. But there's no need to start a holy war for them. Please save your mod points for something more useful.
