New Dell Clickthrough Software License
Petrol writes "I just read that Dell is installing a new mandatory click-through software license at first boot. From the article, Dude, you're getting screwed:
'Kat and I just received the Dell Inspiron 5100 notebook we ordered from Dell Canada. We quickly ran across problems.'"
I got a EULA!
perl -e '$_="\007/4`\cp%2,".chr(127);s/./"\"\\c$&\""/gees
Are you SERIOUS??? The Visual Studio EULA actually forbids you from coding a word processor or spreadsheet app? Holy crap. Can I see that?

I'll turn into a supernova and burn up everything. Well I'll turn into a black little hole and you'll turn into string.
Recently, MySQL changed their client license to the GPL.
Use an old version of the software. Retroactive changes to licenses, having already been agreed to, are not lawful. You an use an old version of the software, with the old license.

You think that's funny - Apple actually did that to me. I was supposed to be installing 5 brand new imacs for a school when on opening the box I found another box (containing manuals, keyboard, mouse etc) with a seal on it saying "by breaking this seal you are agreeing to all of the conditions of the licence agreement! unfortunately that same licence agreement was inside the sealed box. Solution? simple - just rip the box open on the other end leaving the seal intact!!!!! ;-)
