Eddie Izzard As ... Doctor Who?

cmdr_forge writes "The BBC is reporting that Former Doctor Who Tom Baker says that Eddie Izzard is to be the next doctor for the TV show that starts 2005. How awesome is that!"

    Well, who's fault is it that when gays have a public event, that the majority of gays get no coverage but the media focuses on a few drag queens? Or that the coverage of transvestites in these events is very, very superficial, calculated to to deliver the "shock" that of course, everyone is expecting?

    People don't like having their preconcetions challenged, and prefer to see images that comfort them by confirming their predjudices. Making people think has never been safe business practice from the days of Socrates up to the present.
