supabeast! writes "Wired has a story about a public charter school in Buffalo that now tracks student attendence with mandatory RFID tags. The school's director said 'All this relates to safety and keeping track of kids...Eventually it will become a monitoring tool for us..' In the future the system will expand to '...track library loans, disciplinary records, cafeteria purchases and visits to the nurse's office...punctuality...and to verify the time [students] get on and off school buses.' I think that we can all stop calling the privacy advocates paranoid now."

Imagine an environment where people stop living off the land and get their meat neatly processed and packaged for them. Imagine going home to filtered and dehumidified air. Imagine typing instead of writing your thoughts and sending them into an electronic void instead of talking with your friends over a hearty bowl of homemade chili.

Some technological advancements improve quality of life, some impact it negatively, and still others are somewhere in between. Sometimes we need to take the bad with the good, and educate so the kids don't turn into psychotics.

You should know better. Christians are full of repressed sexual tension because they're too uptight to get it on in a good way. This is especially true of Catholics, whom the majority of are under the opinion that sex is for procreation only, and therefore birth control should not be used. Then, all of the above people become hypocrites. That's got to be bad on your soul. You're under a belief that blatantly pegs anyone and everyone as sinners, then you go home, do the dirty. Not only are you then a sinner, but you're also a deliberate sinner. And 9 months later, out pops yet another kid... Err: sinner.

So, all of these professed sexually frustrated Catholics are released upon the world, wrecking havoc, molesting children, raping, beating, and doing everything else that's a complete and udder affront to everything they supposedly believe in--all because you're to be forgiven if you renounce your sin to Jesus, a false idol to the real Judeo-Christian god... Holy trinity be damned. If Jesus really did exist, he'd be a Jew, born Jewish, and would have worshiped Yahweh, and he wouldn't be so goddamned uptight. If he were Christian, he'd be worshiping himself, right? That doesn't make sense, so obviously he had to be Jewish. I'm not saying that following Christ's advice is bad, but we really don't know all that much about what he said, if he said. If anyone with any inkling of what was in the bible actually followed its word, we'd be a bunch of goat raping, ass reaming, inbred, son molesting, and shit eating fucktards in the desert, with no hope or future.

If you want your kid being taken care of a bunch of people whom profess to be Christian scholars but don't know a Bible from a fucking hole in a wall, that's your business, but holy shit... It's a bad choice regardless. They'd be better off picking up soap in prison showers as a hobby.

Likewise, Islamics have the same tendencies. Would you trust someone who's holy book teaches him how to cleanse his dick after he fucks a goat in the arse? Didn't think so.

You don't hear of many Buddhists, or Hindus, or, or, or, ass-ramming kids every other week, now do ya? I wonder why. There are many, many more of them; you'd think it would be an issue, judging by the numbers, and all else being equal.

What you just described is what religions like yours have always done throughout the ages and still continue to do throughout the world. Put your money where your motherfuckin' mouth and drop your fuckin' idol if you wanna talk against endoctrination ; until then, you're just some hugely hypocritical fuck.

You could kill yourself too, BTW. That'd be some backbone for a change.

It probably has something to do with the fact that most people who don't have some kind of training for educating kids usually turn out to be incompetent at educating kids. There are exceptions, but rare ones.

That is utter bullshit. I'm sorry but if the "profeessionals" don't trust parents to teach reading, writing, and math to their own children I'm supprised they trust parents to teach children to talk or use the toilet.

For that matter without professional educators I'm supprised we were able to last as long as we did, the lions and wolves should have gotten us long ago.
