Multi Theft Auto Gets Stunt Update
Chris McArthur writes "The MTA Team proudly announces the release of an updated version of Multi Theft Auto: Vice City, the PC extension of GTA: Vice City which adds extensive multiplayer functionality. MTA:VC 0.2.2 fixes numerous bugs and adds a Stunt Game Mode, a custom-created multiplayer mode in which you can duel against other players to accomplish the best stunts."
Considering that it(the GTA series) is finally coming to the xbox on nov. 4th, perhaps they should look into enabling multiplayer in the game. I don't really see gta as a multiplayer game, however, I'm sure it'd be fun to defend yourself from someone else trying to steal your car.
I'm a big fan of Coop. While the game is tons of fun multiplayer style, I really wish I could join up with a couple friends and follow the plot of the main game together. Would be loads of fun.
How is this Slashdot newsworthy? Wasn't this mod reported on before? I'm not saying online multiplayer GTA is bad (actually its quite interesting technologically), I'm just asking if Slashdot is going to make a habit of reporting game updates.
What would be really, REALLY good is if they made an online version of GTA which would allow you to drive around town, picking up children in your car by offering them sweets.
Then you could drive them up to behind the 'Dirtring' and brutally sodomize them before burying them in a shallow grave. The best thing is, the children can be OTHER PLAYERS! Because we ALL know that kids that get fucked do so because they love the attentions of an adult. It makes them feel grown-up.
I could even get Roger and the boys to do a custom soundtrack!
I hope I cum before they get old
Vice City overshadows Liberty City.
Honestly, they make no attempt to say they even plan on completing the original MTA.
Every FPS that comes out my friend and I get together and say "does it have a decent co-op mode?"
The answer has been almost universally "no".
Only Halo has really come close but they stripped it out of the PC version!
There are places where the networks are not touching, and there are places where they are-Boeing's Lori Gunter
I'm with you 99%.
tsk tsk.
Does anyone know how Rockstar got around the agreement they made with Sony to make GTA III and Vice City PS2/PC only games?
