It seemed like 2/3 of the posts on bargain hunting sites were focused around using this to buy stuff, and it made shopping online a real chore to make sure it went through and to wait to get the money back later. There was always an immense guilt if you didn't use it and I spent too much time crunching numbers.

I download fansubs because the actual episodes are ridiculously expensive.

Pokemon is a bitch to find AND they charge an assload for it. I can't afford buying a whole season of it, yet a whole Simpsons season of 24 episodes is $40.

They're charging way too much. If they actually bring down the price to not take advantage of rich nerds, then they might see sales go up.

I don't want to see anymore of this 3 episodes for $10 crap.

Unless you want a dedicated Mame machine, don't get too excited.
These only work on LAUNCH PSPs from Japan, Sony started requiring hardware signing after that. It's not going to be "cracked" for 1.5.x anytime soon.
On top of that, most games released now won't play unless you update your firmware, meaning you're stuck with a 20 game library of japanese games (5 of which are Mah-jongg), plus old emulated titles.

Since no one else seemed to explain it yet, I'll try.

Basically there's a forum at Gaming-Age.com. One of the mods there is Drinky Crow, a sarcastis anti-Nintendo fan if there ever was one. Smiles And Cries made a thread talking about Nintendogs and Drinky blasted it saying it's not a game and moved the thread to off-topic to be a dick. As such, Smiles And Cries got the idea to make a club about naming your dog Drinky. Hence the blog and the group was born.

Face the facts, girly, the only reason a PSP won't be available for pickup at the store that day for you is because enough people saw fit to show they want one more than you do. If you can't handle that, then shop elsewhere. Many stores don't do reservations, so you can camp out if you like.

Why should we respect this guy? He took thunder away from Taito and ruined countless computers. I hate that friggin' O symbol. I had to clean it every day back in high school in a room full of computers. These kids didn't know what the f. On top of that, the game was too easy. There was no pressure to act fast and the collision detection was piss poor. You could fit any piece down any narrow path you wanted. Programmer art was in it, too.
