p2psim: Roll Your Own P2P Protocol

Anonymous Coward writes "p2psim is a free, multi-threaded, discrete event simulator developed at MIT to evaluate and investigate p2p protocols. You can quite easily add your own p2p protocol and compare it with others to make sure it runs well before you write the real thing. p2psim runs in Linux and FreeBSD."

    I can't believe I just took a shit in my bathing suit at the beach. What the fuck? I cant stand up and take it to the ocean, because I am wading in a puddle of feces at this very moment. Any change in my seating position will send my poo spilling down my legs and into view of every sunbather within 30 feet of me. There is no way I can play this off as a fart. It doesn't help at all that I've been spun out for 3 days. I can hardly see straight! How am I possibly going to explain this to my wife when she comes back from getting chili dogs to ask me what the fuck I just did in the presence of my children? She'll make me drop trau in front of everyone again. There it is. The family on the blanket to the right of me just asked if I could smell "that". I gotta go.

      First of all take it easy. Remember: you are a hero. How's LA doing? Now. All you have to do is sit in the sand and burry yourself in it. Count to 7 (a good ninja must be able to take a decision within seven breaths), then say to the family next to you "WHAT IS THAT?" and point to another direction and -very quickly- Roll Your chair over the sand and burry yourself with grains of sand. Then when the people look at you, stand up and say "Shit! There's some dog shit burried there?". Act very pissed off and go away.

    Just one note, before anyone goes spewing about copyrights and morality, could you please type in "Against Copyrights" into any internet search engine and get your facts straight first. Hint (copying is not piracy, nor steeling food out of the mouths of artists, and it's not property).
