    Aegisthus
Found in Italy in 250 with goats.
This is from De Bello Gothico, bk II, ch XVII, quoted by Tylor in Anthropological Review. The picture of Germany after the French invasion forms an apt parallel to the picture of Italy during the invasion of the Goths, in which the historian Procopius tells, as a startling instance of the horrors of the war, a story which belongs to the category before us, and is very likely true as a matter of fact. An infant, left by its mother, was found by a she-goat which suckled and took care of it. When the survivors came back to their deserted homes they found the child living with its adopted mother, and called it Aegisthus. Procopius says that he was there and saw the child himself.

    Andes boy
Found in the Peruvian Andes in 1990 after spending 8 years with goats.
A boy was found in the Andes, Peru, in 1990, and was said to have been raised by goats for eight years. He is supposed to have survived by drinking their milk, and eating roots and berries. After being found, he was investigted by a team from Kansas University (presumably, The University of Kansas rather than Kansas State University).

    Annonymous Coward
    Raised by dirty Linux hippies
As far as we can deterimine his sad story, Annonymous Coward was kicked out of the house by his father when he could no longer feed him after his job was shipped to India. Coward was found by a Unix sysadmin while dumpster-diving for old pizza crusts. The sysadmin took little Coward back to his nest, where they lived in abject squalor and the other linux hippies of the pack subjected him to severe anal abuse. Annonymous Coward was found and rescued after eight years, when he was caught stealing defective sex toys from the dumpster behind Big Als Gaytorium. Coward was covered in lice-ridden filthy hair and did not posses even the most rudimentary social graces. Specialists at Bethesda naval hospital are using advanced deprogramming techniques developed for the MK-l337 program with some minor success. It is hoped that he can at least be socialized enough to use a Mac.

Antibacterial soaps do more harm than good. The bacteria that survive due to genetic mutations thrive while the others die. That is exactly why we need stronger antibiotics than we did even 10 years ago.

Yes, you are the only one. This is an example of a very interesting way to solve problems. Case in point: Recently it was decreed that "official" American flags should be produced with inflammable material, i.e. textiles which would prevent them from being burned. The reasoning is rather laughable - let's not look at WHY people are burning our flags, let's just make sure that the material is of such a nature that it is impossible! Of course, it's bound to fail as people who are intent on burning flags will simply sow their own, draw them on paper, or get real cheap ones from China. The same principle will be applied to what you're thinking about. Ah, so much writing only to respond to a -1, Troll!

    You're the dumbass here.

Why do you think we're losing - badly - the fight against bacterial infections? Simple.

I'm a GP (General Practitioner for those of you who don't know the term) and I don't think a day goes by without a concerned by undereducated mom or dad, who just won't take a "no" as an answer when they ask for a course of antibiotics for their little brat with a viral infection. The result: viral infections come and go, but all bacteria that survives the unnecessary antibiotic treatment emerges stronger. Hence, we've got more and more drug-resistant cultures around.

The antibacterial soaps are doing exactly the same in your kitchen sink. Yes, they will kill all the weak bacteria in your sink, but whatever survives is much much harder to deal with in the future.

Some studies show it is better, others that it is worse, and others seem to show no difference. Taken together, these studies indicate that antibacterial soaps are more effective at reducing infections by some organisms (especially staph and strep); they are worse at preventing some types of infections (especially by some of the organisms called gram negative bacteria, since the antibacterial soaps kill much of the beneficial bacteria that normally live on our skin and protect us from some of these gram negative organisms); and they make no difference for some types of infections (such as cytomegalovirus [CMV], or Clostridia -- the bacteria that cause gangrene).

Here's a reccomendation from a doctor that is far more respected than you and certianly more believeable... C Everett Coop....

"For children who are prone to impetigo, boils, or pimples, I would recommend using an antibacterial soap. I would also recommend it for people who are exposed to a great many infectious diseases (I use it in my office)."

First off, Antibacterial DIAL does significantly reduce ZITS in children that are prine to acne. many adults that also get body acne would benifit greatly from washing with a antibacterial soap.

The most important thing is to fricking wash and wash your hands. Americans, and most of the world are disgusting slobs that do not wash their hands. In my microbiology classes we detected e-coli in every classroom where students sit.

Anyways, using disinfectants heavily in the home coupled with anti-bacterial soap will significantly reduce the number of illnesses and cross contaminiation from sick family members and only a quack or a doctor that has forgotten EVERYTHING they learned in microbiology would suggest otherwise..
