    Living in Vancouver, we are protected by Vancouver Island which is a natural barrier against any mega tsunami. I live near the Burrard Inlet, which pours out into the Pacific Ocean, so we get all the benefits of living near shores and beaches, and afforded the protection of natural barriers.

    VT could theoretically pack in 4x the number of nodes in the same space that occupied the original System X. Could we be looking at at least a 50 TFlop (minus 10% overhead) supercomputer with 8,800 cluster nodes?

    If that were feasible, you could be looking at toppling Earth Simulator at a fraction of the cost.

    There's only a finite number of old films. Of those old films, most are either shoddy or have been long forgotten. Only a very small number of movies are beloved enough that studios are willing to cost out the restoration work.

    Most films shot now are digitized, or shot digitally in the first place.

    Thank goodness I read the article 6 hours ago before it got Slashdotted to hell.

    Basically, the baddest changes occured with Boba Fett's voice now dubbed by Temura Morrison. Also some changes in dialogue for Vader that helped with continuity, plus an extended scene with the Emperor.

    Visual changes include details shots of the Wampa, Cloud City exteriors, and a scene of Vader heading back to the Star Destroyer recycled from Outtakes from RoTJ.
