Internet Users Are More Social Than Non-Users
FePe writes "The UCLA World Internet Project has concluded from a study that Internet users spend more time on social activites than non-users. Many other interesting facts can be seen on the page. For example, in the United States 73.1 percent of men use the Internet compared to 69 percent of woman." Also interesting is how net users watch less television than their offline counterparts. OMG FUH
Congratulations, Slashdot. I read this article on CNN like, a week ago. Could you BE any slower in posting stories to the front page? Meanwhile during my work-day I have to twiddle my fucking thumbs without any god damned Slashdot reading because you lazy-arsed editors are sleeping on the other side of the pacific. Don't be so god damned US-Centric; post stories with fair regularity so no matter WHERE you are, you can get a healthy dosage of procrastination-enabling reading material. Plus, you'll get news posted WHILE THEY ARE STILL TIMELY! :p
If you don't like it, get the FUCK off the (global) Internet, you fucking AmeriKKKan editors.
How's THAT for sociable, you filthy hippies!
I'm sure you've all heard the sad story so I won't waste your time. Here are my nominations for the new goatse site: Gross! Jelly-Man Hot Linux chicks

Obviously they are, like duh.
They're counting Everquest and Yahoo Chat, right?
Intolerance for ambiguity is the mark of the authoritarian personality.
...when people start saying something in the topic of their comment, and then finish it in the body?
I swear, if I see another Slashdot comment with "It will be interesting to see"...
If you'd use some common sense, things like this wouldn't have to be explained to you.
