WB Cancels Angel

Ray Radlein writes "Despite a 36% increase over last year's comparable ratings, the WB Network announced today that they are cancelling Angel as of the end of this season." Unfortunate since this season was stronger than the last. " The link also makes taunting mentions of movie plans.

    It doesn't seem to fit squarely with the site at all. I don't know a single soul that watches that show.

    There might be a closet Angel watcher amongst the /. editors.

    Actually, they haven't had any Wayan's brothers show on their for a while. You must be thinking UPN, cuz that is the big nigger network these days.

    The UPN ruined buffy :( Season Six was just painful to watch, warren and the nerd herd? WTF!
    But back on topic, I hope that they don't screw up angel like they fucked up buffy. Angel is becoming a great show.

    yeah, and that's when Buffy went from being great to being horrible. the last two seasons of Buffy were just painful to watch (which I did anyway because my wife is a big Spike fan, and I got dragged into it)
