pvt_medic writes "The BBC has an interesting article today about portable music players and personal space. The article is on the research that Dr Michael Bull has done on portable music players. He analyzes them as a "tool whereby users manage space, time and the boundaries around the self." This article goes on to analyze the social and psychological aspects related to listening to music in public with headphones. A good quick read for those who do this."

    John Romero touched my junk liberally. He told me he was going to "make me his bitch" and that I would "suck it down". He was performing many business mistakes. I couldnt believe what the fuck was going on. I told John Romero that Eidos would not approve of Daikatana.

    It doesn't help at all that John Romero has been spun out after seeing the poor reviews. He can hardly be taken seriously after making Daikatana. How is he possibly going to get critical acclaim when he's making shit like that gay Intergalactic Delivery Boy game? They'll make Monkeystone start developing sports franchises just to stay in the black. There it is. Tom Hall just called and said he started claiming "Design is king" again. He has to go.

    Why can't that retard of whom i'm forced to live with (stdent housing)
    use those damned headphones. I really don't want to hear him play some stupid game. Blam blam blam... blam blam blam. Tried to talk to the guy but doesent seem to grasp the consept of basic curtesy.

    Think anyone would notice if he simply dissapeared?

    Good point. I think a nice car system sound good, on the inside of the car. But when it gets beyond that I just don't see the point. Why spend so much money on a speaker system for such a little area? In a car system you should just aim for quality sound, instead of how loud it will go and how much bass you can thump.

    There is nothing more annoying than an old nasty car that has thousands of dollars in speaker equipment in it. Or nice rims. If you have the money for those, work on getting a new car first!
