It's about time the editors got crap like this sorted out. It doesn't appear to be a service worth paying for. Can't they just run a search for the article before they publish it?

Sorry, but that's what I regard it as. Where does it end? what if they do this so many times that it makes some distinctive imprint?...

If the crater is visible from earth, then I don't agree with this project. What right to they have to 'throw bricks' and change the image of that thing in the sky?? I enjoy looking at the moon...I might enjoy it less if I knew some prick had stashed 10kg of his own personal garbage (porn for example) on it. It's nothing for the human race to be proud of.

  20. Slashdot missing???!!!! on Top 100 Hoaxes of All Time · · Score: 0

I see the number of slashdot contributions to the list seems slim. Don't the public find the discovery of a "new colour" or an "evil bit" funny? Why, I sit in the dark for months on end, verging on suicide, waiting for this glorious day were I can laugh without breath from the humour of the slashdot editors. Today I laughed and laughed and laughed. When the stories were duped 7 or 8 times in the space of 2 minutes, it brought back the memories of the first time I read them. What a great day!
