Several readers also point out Bruce Perens' column on CNET today which reiterates the difficulty SCO faces in attempting to get past the clarification of license terms AT&T offered Unix licensees in 1985.
The linked article has got to be about the stupidest thing I've ever read. Let's see, can't get any information? Well, let's just go ahead and start making shit up. Woo woo.

You keep posting all this stuff about Darl being a drunk. Rumor's always had it that Darl drinks like a fish. A big, fat, evil fish. And the story about him puking on an HP employee at a tradeshow a while back is a classic. It's a great story. And if true, it really shows off Darl as a hypocrite, given his religion's beliefs about alcohol.
However, these are still just rumors. If we've got no pictures, we've got no proof. OTOH, if/when we *do* get some pictures, the party has officially started.
Maybe there should be a scale of points awarded for embarrassing Darl photos...
100 points for a photo of Darl with an open container of alcohol.
500 points if he's visibly intoxicated. Extra points may be awarded if a.) it happened at a trade show, b.) he's drinking something really nasty, like Thunderbird, or a wine cooler, or c.) he's doing something stupid like dancing on a table.
0 points if the photo of Darl drunk either shows him puking, or in a state of undress. Nobody wants to see either of those things.
1000 points for a picture of Darl in the company of a woman who is not one of his wives, if you know what I mean. Didio doesn't count. Sorry.
