Delta 2 Rocket Launches 50th GPS Satellite

wetshoe writes "This CNN article reports that 'the 50th U.S. Global Positioning Satellite has lifted off aboard a Boeing Delta 2 rocket.' It was sent into space to replace an aging GPS satellite. One more reason why geocaching is so much fun."

    One more reason why geocaching is so much fun.

    No it is not. While being a geek and enjoying your gadgets is all good, it is just silly to go to some specific place to find a little note telling you to go to some other place.

    I could understand why it was the new, leet thing to do when handheld GPS first came around, but come on, you have to be pretty ignorant to still be feeling the novelty here.

    Maybe I should start shitting in bags and leaving them in the little geocaching stashes. I bet that would make you think twice before doing it again. The mere idea of someone going on a quest to find my terds does sound very entertaining. BBL, going to find some geocaches around my area.
