KDE And Gnome Together At Last?

HangingChad writes "eWeek is reporting about Novell's plan to combine elements of both into a unified desktop. Apparently the work has already started. Chris Schlager, vice president of research and development for SUSE, thinks the differences between KDE and Gnome developers have been overstated. Apparently he's not a regular /. reader."

    GNome is a stable and mature desktop environment, KDE is basically some shoddy C++ code without any thought or design.

    Gnome sucks and is easily hackable (as we saw earlier today).

    KDE is pretty and is secure as hell?

    Kill the Gnome project, only fag pedos like Cowboy Kneel uses it.

    I can't wait to start using gnome apps once they've replaced that nasty gtk with sexy QT. It will be a huge improvement over the old gnome.
