I hate it when people release stats in pure numbers in tables. They should also put some of that data in graph form so we can visual see what's going on. I dumped some of this data into Swivel and here are the graphs I got out of it:
I used to bring my Treo 600 with me while I took a #2 at work. I used it as a portable reading device because I could grab web content from anywhere. It was also very useful for taking pictures of my shits and sending it to my co-workers.
In the mother, one copy of the gene is mutated and the other is normal; the boy has two mutated copies. One almost definitely came from his father, but no information about him has been disclosed. The mutation is very rare in people.
If this mutation is so rare in people then it is very likely that the boys father is also his uncle or grandfather. Just another side effect of inbreeding.
My friend works at Microsoft and he said there were constant rants and raves about how their DRM code was "just shit". That name stuck so thats how they got "JAnus".
I didn't read the article, but after looking at the chart, it is clear that Monsters, Inc. clearly beat out those other movies. It's over 4x faster than Spiderman.
I'm the Linux Console Jockey at my company and was looking for a cheap alternative after the RedHat end of life. I decided that a move to RHEL3.0 would be the best bet. The ES edition regularly cost $350, but RHN has a special until the end of Feb. for only $175. I can't beat than price and to be able to stay with RedHat makes all the difference. No need for unoffical updates or moving to an entirely different distro. I'm happy and the boss is happy with the price. Plus giving some money to RedHat for their great product is nice after looking at what we pay MS for their crap.
RHEL is a yearly subscription, and for a typical 3 year lifespan of hardware, $299x3
RHEL is not a yearly subscription. The initial cost is ~$300 and that comes with 1 year of RHN. Every other year will only cost you only $60 a year for RHN. You bought this OS so if you do decide to buy new hardware after 3 years, surely you can move the license over as long as it's the same architecture. They are backporting errata for 5 years.
When Alan Cox recieves his MBA, we will have to call him by his new title: Master Cocks^H^H^Hx. Sounds like Alan may be dropping linux dev for pr0n movies.
EDGE really is a slow network compared to EVDO. It's around 8x slower in downloads and the real killer is it's around 65x slower in uploads.

Does anyone know what icon set that first screenshot is using? For me, one of the coolest things about gnome is cutomizing the windows and icons.
According to Firefly, in the future we will all be able to curse in Chinese.

Wow, this looks like my Netgear router with a LCD glued on it.

Microsoft already made that. It's called Windows Media Player.
What? So how is this news? They are just getting rid of KDE and making the new desktop 100% Gnome? :)

PEOPLE !!! "If you want more secure software, upgrade." ... to Debian 8)
;)
Woah! Debian is already up to version 8? I guess it's the new Linux distro thing to jump 6 version numbers, or like RedHat dropping 6 versions.

- "Portable Media Center Devices Will Blow You Away" (wha? no it won't!)
Actully I heard that MS planted explosives in the Portable Media Center Devices that would blow you away if you didn't register mobile windoze.

What's with all the Gigli bashing. I place it up in my top ten with Scorpian King. :)
Someone kept repeat messaging me "What the F**K do you think you're doing?" so I replied, "I'm download your album BIACH!"
I figure as long as Firebird Database is #1 on a google search then they should have nothing to cry about. Pontiac is #3.
Any movie that plays with reality is great in my book. Plus Gretchen Mol was as beatiful as ever.
My point is that sometimes the tool user is a tool.
