Can Communications Be Learned From Chimps?

Pine UK writes "The Zoological Society of London are looking for volunteers who are willing to 'talk chimp' in everyday life. The ZSL will be studying the volunteers to see how talking chimp affects situations like workplace conflicts. According to BBC News, the volunteers are expected to show their emotions in a chimp like fashion. This can be done by baring their teeth and by using submissive body language such as lowering their heads and crouching. The ZSL will publish their findings later this year."

That's the most fucking ignorant interpretation of international politics I have ever read, and I am ashamed to share the same species with the people who modded this crap up.

Let me guess? When Bush was calling Iran/Iraq/NKorea the "axis of evil", you were one of the people who called it simplistic black and white politics? Even the WORST evaluation of the situation we all know you are referring to isn't even close to "Hey, you have a towel on your head. Eat lead." Thanks guys, for helping reduce the credibility of opponents of this mess.

If anybody is throwing shit like an ape rather than intelligent discourse, it's you.
