A Mouse With Two Mothers

jabberjaw writes "Both the BBC and Nature are reporting that scientists at Tokyo University of Agriculture have used two sets of chromosomes belonging to a female mouse to create what are essentially fatherless mice. The process by which this was accomplished (parthenogenesis) does not naturally occur in mammals. The mouse used lacked a gene known as H19 which in turn activated the Igf2 which allowed this process to occur."

    Today during an exclusive press conference, Gay Nigger Association of America (GNAA) CIO Timecop Sr. announced that Troll Busters, a well known anti-troll site, had been crushed by the iron fist of the GNAA.

    "We are very proud of our operatives," announced Timecop Sr. "They are heroes on the vast backdrop of the trolling institution, and their exploits will be forever remembered."

    Troll Busters was a vigilante radio show that aired every Friday night (12 Midnight CST), whose only visible objective was to expose and bring trolls to justice. It flaunted that it had "encountered victory over the GNAA" and that "they would never harm Slashdot again". These claims were instantly refuted by GNAA CIO Timecop Sr.

    "It really is quit ludicrous," said Timecop. "GNAA is stronger than ever"
