Big Brother Will Be Watching You In Florida
An anonymous reader submits "The Florida Times Union is running a story about the city of Manalapan putting up cameras and an automatic optical recognition system to check the license plates of every car to drive through town. As usual the article spins the system as something positive to battle crime. Just one step close to Eric Arthur Blair's vision of 1984."
First post!
GO!
I just heard some sad news on talk radio - mercatur.net was found without DNS records this morning. There weren't any more details. I'm sure everyone in the Slashdot community will miss it. Even if you didn't enjoy Alice's work, there's no denying her contributions to popular culture. Truly an American icon.
It's a hotbed of Communism and secular humanistic values. Any university that allows an unredeemed communist like Richard M. Stalinman to sleep in the offices and preach the destruction of the corporate state (while accepting billions from said corporate state) without censure is dangerously unbalanced and hypocritical.
Let's show off our knowledge of pseudonyms and confuse people! Way to make the summary 100% clear!
What kind of retarded moderator mods down a post thats already at -1? It doesn't change the score!
It wasn't at -1, you dick. Obviously, you never had mod points, else you'd know that there is no way to mod a post down which is already at -1.
Was too.
Look at the moderation totals. Not to mention the fact that I saw the post before it was modded.
"Starting Score: -1 points "
You dick! You shall eat my feces and swallow!
omg omg, clueless on teh spoke!1111111

It's true. The right to bear arms is so the populace can overthrow a tyrannical government. Time to get out your guns and destroy tyranny.
The cameras watch you! No wait, thats Florida.

Telex4 writes "The Free Software community is constantly inundated with interesting new projects, but occasionally something crops up which is really special. Kst is just such a project. Started by Barth Netterfield, an astrophysicist, as a personal project to plot data from his experiments, it has now taken on a life of its own, being used in numerous academic projects, and finding funding from several government agencies. Intrigued by this project's success, and with a little prod from co-developer George Staikos, I interviewed Barth and George about kst, Free Software and physics."
He says "But what are you wanting to do on internet other than troll. What is your part, what is your benifit of going online."
as for your second question, we trolled them so hard that they lost. What do you expect?
